By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

The Platform allows users to publish articles, podcast episodes, comments, debate posts, and other content ("User-Generated Content" or "UGC"). You are solely responsible for the content you post.

By posting content, you represent and warrant that:

• Your content does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
• You have all necessary rights to post the content.
• Your content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

CrossTalk Media has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.The following are strictly prohibited:

• Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind.
• Threats, intimidation, or incitement to violence.
• Sexually explicit content, pornography, or content exploiting minors.
• Spam, scams, deceptive content, or misleading information.
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Impersonation of another person or entity.
• Content that encourages illegal activity.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to terminate the account of any user who posts offending content, without prior notice.

CrossTalk Media actively moderates User-Generated Content through the following mechanisms:

• Reporting / Flagging: Any user can flag content they believe violates these Terms by using the flag (⚑) button on any post or comment. Reports are sent to our moderation team for review.
• Blocking: Any user can block another user by using the block button. When you block a user, their content is instantly removed from your feed and you will no longer see their posts or comments. Blocking also notifies our moderation team about the blocked user's content.
• 24-Hour Action: Our moderation team reviews and acts on all reports within 24 hours. This may include removing the offending content and ejecting (banning) the user who provided it.
• Automated Filtering: The Platform uses automated profanity detection on debate stream posts and comments to prevent the most common forms of objectionable content from appearing.

Upon receiving a report or otherwise identifying content that violates these Terms, CrossTalk Media will: (a) remove the offending content within 24 hours, and (b) eject the user who provided the offending content by suspending or permanently banning their account. Repeat violators will be permanently banned. We may also report illegal content to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
• Not create an account using a false identity or on behalf of someone else without authorization.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at privacy-policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CrossTalk Media and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. User-Generated Content remains the property of the user who posted it, but by posting you grant CrossTalk Media a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform.

All audio and video content available through the Platform is either:

• Original content produced by CrossTalk Media and its creators, including uploaded podcast episodes and live broadcasts.
• Embedded content from CrossTalk Media's own accounts on third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Mixlr) using those platforms' official embedding APIs, in accordance with their respective Terms of Service.
• Links to third-party platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube) that open in the user's browser or native app. The Platform does not stream, download, or cache third-party audio or video content.

CrossTalk Media does not provide unauthorized access to any third-party streaming, catalog, or discovery service. All embedded content is sourced from CrossTalk Media's own accounts or content for which CrossTalk Media has the necessary rights. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and services; we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. User-Generated Content reflects the views of its authors, not CrossTalk Media.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrossTalk Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any User-Generated Content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
