Another noteworthy entertainment experiment unfolded this weekend in Kingston, New York, where a new three-day gathering called The Festival brought Broadway performers and theater fans together in a format organizers have described as something resembling a “Coachella for Broadway.”

The event began August 14 and featured performances and appearances from Broadway talent including Adam Pascal, Christopher Jackson, Alex Newell, Eva Noblezada, Reeve Carney and others.
